Poste :

The purpose of the position is:

  • Supervise the resource planning team and ensure services are provided on time and with high quality to the different stakeholders.
  • Lead the day-to-day resource planning work to achieve agreed goals and targets.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Be responsible for the general resources planning activities and ensure guidelines are respected and followed by the team.
  • Ensure labor is efficiently planned and ordered according to the operational requirements and legislative approvals.
  • Liaise with Managers and Supervisors to manage any kind of exceptions such as lateness, sick leaves, absenteeism…
  • Ensure annual leaves for all operations and M&R employees are planned and consumed as per target.
  • Manage operations equipment such as ops cars and vessel mobile phones.
  • Participate in disciplinary hearings.
  • Ensure a successful implementation and roll out of the Workforce Management System.
  • Ensure training of new comers.
  • Follow up with subcontractors on any deviation from the plan and ensure adherence/mitigation to the schedules.
  • Provide Finance department with monthly outsourced manhours for billing purposes.
  • Prepares and checks the monthly actual hours worked, including overtime hours and forwards to Payroll for payment authorizations.
  • Prepares monthly reports on trends in attendance for operations management.
  • Tracks sick leave and unapproved absences, notifying managers when disciplinary measures should be considered.
  • Undertake other duties within capabilities as required by operations planning management.

  • Protect one self and those around from unsafe acts.
  • Actively participate in contributing to zero accidents.
  • Report any unsafe acts.
  • Alert to risks and unsafe acts that could result in an accident.

Profil recherché :

Who we are looking for?

Qualification:

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Law, Information technology, applied economy or any other relevant field.
  • Requires at least 5 years of experience in resources planning, preferably in a large manufacturing factory.
  • Requires at least 5 years of experience in people leadership.
  • Understands safety regulations, safe working procedures and safe materials handling procedures.
  • Requires the ability to maintain high level quality of work under pressure.
  • Proven and demonstrated ability to deal efficiently with staff requests and issues.
  • Requires advanced level of verbal and written communications skills in English and Arabic.
