We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist_Affiliate for 18 months Temporary Assignment.
Poste :
Direct reporting to the Finance Manager NWA, you :
• Lead the affiliate’s PROMO procurement activities in order to enable the Marketing department to achieve agreed business requirements.
• Manage negotiations and clarifications with potential suppliers to obtain the best “assessed bids” in line with or better than project cost allowances and required deliverables quality.
• Review purchase requisitions to ensure its compliance with the internal regulations and prepare purchase orders accordingly. Ensure that all purchasing decisions are carried out in accordance with appropriate levels of delegated approval authority thus guarantee efficient and auditable procurement trail.
• Ensure that goods and services are provided cost effectively to predetermined standards and in accordance with current procedures.
• Ensure that suppliers profile and contracts are appropriately managed in line with internal policies.
• Identify potential competitive sources of supply
• Implement new tool for project reporting to maximize productivity and cost savings.
Profil recherché :
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in a procurement role, preferably in Pharmaceutical industry
• Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Individual must be self-motivated with great follow-up skills and be able to work independently
• Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage multiple-cross divisional work process and projects
• Fluent French, English language
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively with Suppliers.
• Effective order and report writing
• Ability to develop purchasing and sourcing strategies on a project basis
• Supplier Relationship Management skills
• Ability to understand the effects of supplier markets, cost drivers and market forces and their effects on pricing
• Effective PC skills
• Effective Document Management (archiving)
• Knowledge and understanding of the logics of computerized systems
• Knowledge and understanding of Conditions of Contract
• Ability to contribute within a multi discipline team environment
