Finance Intern (H/F) - Port Med II - Tanger

APM Terminals Medport Tangier is a greenfield project under construction, it will be the third container terminal of the Tanger Med complex APM Terminals Tangier handled 1.7 million TEUs in 2015. APM Terminals Medport Tangier will be a facility
with up to 2,000 meters of quay.

Poste :


  • Support finance departmenet in below activities :

     -Control supplier invoices in IFS in compliance with the accounting procedures and audit requirements

    -Segregate between OPEX purchases and CAPEX and segregate CAPEX by projects

    -Attend queries from vendors and other departments with respect of payment status of invoices

    -Interact with departments and vendors in the resolution of administrative matters (invoice errors, discrepancies…)

    -Match accounts in IFS and clean General Ledger

    -Vendor reconciliation on regular basis and follow up

    -Provide appropriate documents and assist audits (external & internal)

    -Ensure automatic purchase transactions are transferred, posted timely and correctly

    -Follow on Purchase Orders received and not yet invoiced

    -Follow up on the Fixed Assets under construction and capitalization of Assets

    -Follow up the treasury transactions (bank transactions, MasterCard’s, travel expenses and petty cash)

    -Prepare bank reconciliations

    -Prepare short and medium term treasury forecasts

    -Book Payroll transactions and reconcile accounting and payroll data

    -Calculate withholding taxes

    -Prepare annual fiscal books and annual tax declarations

    -Ad-hoc tasks in connection with accounting, financial analysis, tax and legal matter


Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Good understanding of accounting principles and transactions
  • Good knowledge of excel
  • Requires a high level of planning and organizational skills
  • Good English level
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion

Profil recherché :

Who we are looking for:


  • Requires a Master degree in Finance and accounting.. work experience is not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and local Moroccan accounting standards required.
  • Must have thorough understanding and working knowledge of ERP systems and accounting specific software. 
  • Requires proficiency in various software applications and programs, specifically excel, powerpoint and think-cell.


  • Team work spirit.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Requires a high level of planning and organizational skills.
  • Requires excellent analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.
  • Requires exceptional time management due to fast-moving, demanding work environment.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion
