Responsibilities/Tasks:

Our telecommunications company is seeking an experienced BNG - Network Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with hands-on experience in end-to-end software project development in a network company environment.

• Develop and maintain BNG/BRAS features for different vendor platforms
• Implement and troubleshoot various access technologies like DSL, PON, GPON, Ethernet and Wireless
• Design and develop software components for networking devices and protocols
• Participate in the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to implementation and maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery within aggressive schedules

Experience

• Strong C programming skills and experience with large software development projects in a UNIX or IOS environment, including source code control systems
• Work experience in any of the following protocols: PPPoE/L2TP, PPPoE/PPP, IPoE, EoGRE, RADIUS, DHCP, AAA, GTPv1/v2, VRF, VLAN
• Experience with router/switch internals and data path modules
• Solid experience with software debuggers such as GDB, memwatch, valgrind, and wireshark
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN communication interfaces and Ethernet layer 2/layer 3 technologies
• Familiarity with telecom networking and operations support systems (OSS)
• Motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver superior products in a cross-functional team environment under aggressive schedules.

Profil recherché :

Education/Certification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Certification in networking technologies such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is required.
