Poste :

As an HR Generalist, your main responsibilities are :

Payroll management :

  • Calculate and record salary, pay rates, overtime rates, mandatory /voluntary deductions, additional payments, tax band and allowances.
  • Monitor and schedule individual pay actions and prepare pay slips accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain payroll records: check and audit timekeeping record for compliance with establish standards.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Process requests for paycheck advances.
  • Standardize and improve payroll operations and systems.
  • Develop and update payroll reference manual for managers.
  • Answer employee queries related to pay slips.
  • Recommend pay structure revisions in compliance with local law. *If service outsourced: Ensure accurate delivery within the payroll calendar time frameMonthly staff cost report

Administration :

  • Recruitment.
  • Administrate entry and exit process (onboarding and off boarding).
  • Make necessary modifications to all contracts, agreements with employees and third party providers (e.g. Health Insurance, Pensions).
  • Create and maintain an updated filing and retrieval system with historical records referring to established employment contracts, endorsements, time management (absenteeism), health care benefits, bonuses and retirement packages, role changes, etc.
  • Issue confirmations, complete forms for finance,tax, statistical purposes.
  • Organise internal HR events (e.g. health and safety programs).
  • Control and/or manage the payroll process.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all necessary personnel procedures and information systems for effective workflow resource planning.

Financial statements:

  • Determine and correct out-of-balance conditions
  • Prepare and fill tax reports, if applicable.
  • Prepare accounting transactions and documents
  • Prepare specific reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non taxable wages.
  • Provide inputs for the elaboration of personnel budget.
  • Ensure contact with fiscal authorities.


  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by Coface and external regulators.

Reporting :

  • Develop monthly and quarterly dashboards  to  provide HR budget expenditure, lagging metrics (absence, turnover, stability), personnel management metrics ( recruitment, development and training activities, appraisals,  benefits, compensation management), time management metrics (personal work schedule, time accounts), employees satisfactions surveys, diversity data, etc.
  • Recommend and develop tools for providing improvements, where applicable.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis, as required.
  • Ensure correct data entry in the HR reporting system.
  • Prepare key statistical reports and other periodic reports for management (recruitment, movement of employees, strategic goal accomplishments, CSR)


  • Lead the Employees Opinion Survey and Action Plan follow up for fostering commitment and motivation.
  • Share relevant information on HR projects and respond to queries from Coface employees and managers.
  • Main Hr activities as annual evaluation, compensation, talent review, ...

Profil recherché :

Degree educated in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, with at leat 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role.

  • Computer literacy: spreadsheet and database programs, payroll system software.
  • HRIS software.
  • Proficiency in French and English
