Poste :

Within the Commercial department and reporting to West and Central Africa (Weca) Coordinator and Maghreb and Weca Commercial Director, the purpose of the position is to be responsible, within direct and indirect sales channels, for the acquisition of new business and renewals for Credit Insurance and related Coface products/services. The sales model for this role is both Direct to the end client, working via a number of internal and self-generated sources of business, as well as through partners for acquiring and renewing business.
The purpose is also to manage relationship with our bank and insurance partners and represent the Coface brand within professional associations.

New business and cross-selling
o To deliver new sales for all product lines (credit insurance, business information and debt
collection), under Group Rules and Standards.
o To work closely with Commercial Director, the Marketing Department in managing leads and feeding back activity results.
o To ensure a good Quality of Service delivered to our customers to ensure client retention
Partnership animation
o To liaise with our bank and insurance partners, representative of Coface brand
o To represent the company at meetings with professional chambers and all relevant events
Internal governance
o To work closely with the Risk and Compliance
Department and ensure our compliance standards are met and consistent throughout our portfolio
o To work closely with finance department to ensure proper invoicing and receivables

Profil recherché :

Education: Master in marketing, commercial, or banking
Languages: English, French
Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 

To be successful in this role you have the following skills and experience:

  • In depth understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Knowledge of current economic climate and how it affects the market
  • In depth familiarity and knowledge of various contract structures in order to know how best to negotiate between price and risk
  • An understanding of compliance and the regulatory framework in Ivory Coast
  • At least 3 years in the role.


  • Strong communication and sales negotiation skills
  • Proven sales experience and results
  • Autonomous: able to self-motivate and focus on goals and activities while working on one’s own
  • Prioritization: determine the importance of each task and allocate time accordingly
  • Rigor and team spirit
