Poste :

The position holder manages all Security aspects of the terminal activities and maintains its effectiveness.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensures the terminal compliance with ISPS regulation and the applicable rules and regulations
  • Ensures the compliance, maintenance & the development of the port facility security plan
  • Ensures the performance and the effectiveness of the Terminal security duties
  • Manages the effectiveness of security provision within the Security Control Room
  • Ensures the compliance with the contractual quality commitments related to the guarding services
  • Ensures the Effectiveness of the Emergencies and Incidents process management, Supports Travel Risk & journey Management
  • Coordinates the Business continuity activities within the terminal
  • Coordinates crisis management preparedness activities, including exercise frameworks

Responsibilities:

  • Increases Security awareness at all levels within the Terminal
  • Provides security support and advice
  • Plans, schedules, trains, and evaluates the performance of security activities
  • Ensures follow-up and control of security contractual services within our terminal
  • Creates detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting system
  • Provides support to HSE team, performing inspections, supervisions, enforcing rules and leading by example
  • Implements, maintains and monitors security procedures
  • Identifies, assesses and controls security risks
  • Manages and insures the daily security performance and reporting
  • Keeps records of all security related inspections and investigations
  • Conducts security trainings & exercises
  • Manages / Provides advises on issues affecting the security of the port
  • Ensures the readiness and effectiveness of the physical security measures
  • Monitors and ensures the compliance with the contractual commitments related to the guarding service providers
  • Supports the crisis management team readiness during a crisis or disaster exercises, end supports the implementation of its action plan & strategies
  • Triggers continuous improvement actions and ensures security processes are systematically updated and fit for purpose
  • Coordinates the Business continuity activities within the terminal
  • Coordinates crisis management preparedness activities, including exercise frameworks

Profil recherché :

  • Must have at least a bachelor degree (Bac +3)
  • PFSO Certified
  • Technical security background and a minimum of 3 years of security experience is required (experience in a port or airport facility is highly preferred)
  • Supervisory and team leadership experience
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain positive relationships with other employees and external partners
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic, French and English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills, including planning, direction, and monitoring activities
  • Ability to remain calm and to work under pressure
  • Background in security risk identification and management is preferred
