Senior Accountant - Tunis

Multinational is recruiting a Senior Accountant for the Holdings & Services Companies.

Poste :

The  Accountant for the Holdings and Services Companies is responsible for the data quality, controls & internal controls by delivering on the following:

  • Give attention to details, and ensure that all controls are in place for all areas he/she is responsible for.
  • Act as a Finance responsible, protect enterprise value, and make sure that her/his job is done in accordance with the Group Financial Policies and Standards.
  • Act as a back-up for the FC of Holdings/Services Companies
  • Support the FC on the coordination of statutory accounts for VEI BV, Other BVs, VEUKS, Mauritius (Sub-holdings), Mauritius (VEOHL) and as appropriate.


  • Supervise the AP & GA Processor.
  • Prepare BS Accounts Reconciliation, Including Bank Reconciliation.
  • Prepare Information & Supporting Documents for Tax Returns.
  • Prepare the Service charges calculation, and Invoices.
  • Lead the Intercompany Confirmation Process.
  • Prepare Overview of information to assist FC in his role.
  • Manage Closing Process & Reporting Process.
  • Manage the Group & Statutory Reporting Process, including Interaction with central reporting team for this purpose.
  • Prepare the statutory Financial Statements.
  • Interact with external auditors, and respond to audit requests.
  • Manage Payments.
  • Follow up on Cash Position & Prepare periodic Cash Forecast.
  • Manage Dividend Process.
  • Manage Forecast & Planning Process.
  • Coordination of external (statutory) audit for the entities listed above.

Profil recherché :

  • Accounting degree or MBA
  • 5-10 years’ experience in similar position, or other Finance experience.
  • Solid accounting and Finance knowledge
  • Good and relevant ERP system knowledge (SAP, HFM, HPL, SAC…)
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Tools
  • Good communications and inter-personal skills.
  • Fluent in English (French would be a clear advantage)
