Poste :

India's largest engineering and construction company operating in Africa in the Power Transmission & Distribution business is looking for professionals for its ongoing / upcoming projects in Morocco

Job Purpose/Objective:

TL projects: Construction / Site Manager heads the site team functionally and is responsible for leading the site team for Civil, Erection & Stringing activity and effectively managing all aspects of project execution at site.

Role requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Review proposals and contract requirements and ensure that construction costs are accurately estimated.
- Forecast and review manpower and material requirements at site for all electrical work. (TL : Erection and stringing works)
- Prepare Daily / Weekly / Monthly progress Reports.
- Review Project Schedule in MS Project & Primavera.
- Follow-up with Site Supervisors & SC’s for daily progress.
- Discussion with Surveyor & Design Engineer to finalize Profile.
- Communication with Client Supervisors and Engineers to minimize site related issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly schedules based on project plan, every 3 months, in consultation with the Planning engineer and Project manager.
- Organize weekly project review meetings with project team, site team and Engineering team (Head Quarter) to understand the design progress, schedule of arrival of material at site, actual project progress in terms of schedule and provide appropriate action plans.
- Keep record of all site related documentation (PV’s, Reports etc. from client and Laboratory)
- Certification of executed quantities to SC’s for billing purposes.
- Reconciliation of material issued and consumed at site.
- Reconciliation of billed quantities SC vis-à-vis Client invoiced / Certified quantities.
- Periodically evaluate risk and mitigation plans with Project Manager & Site Managers.
- Prepare and submit periodic progress review to PM.
- Organise weekly / Monthly review meeting with Sub-Contractors.
- Attend review meetings arranged by Employer/CE at site level.
- Coordinate with design department for shop drawing preparation, issue and approval and ensure timely availability of approved drawing. Provide inputs to design department for “as built drawing” based on changes made to drawing in consultation with CE during execution.
- Supervise and take control of ongoing activities at project site and resolve all relevant issues proactively.
- Conduct required trials and mock ups.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, identification, traceability and issue of materials
- Implement appropriate EHS procedures in line with relevant environment, health and safety guidelines. Ensure that subcontractors are following the same as per approved documents.
- Implement Project Quality Management System effectively to ensure that quality standards are met as per approved documents.
- Ensure internal audits and MRM are conducted on time.
- Maintain relevant inspection / testing records approved by customer / consultants
- Co-ordinate with all internal departments on site (HSE, Quality, Environment, etc.) and off-site (Design, SCM, Planning, Tendering etc.) as and when required to resolve relevant site issues.
- Co-ordinate with CE on day-to-day basis with regard to planning and progress of work at site and address all execution related issues at site, raised by CE.
- Work with subcontractor to mobilize and monitor workforce and address workers’ concerns proactively.
- Manage and provide direction to the Site Construction Engineers / Supervisors and other Field Service staff.
- Monitor all the activities related to supply, erection, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Prepare Joint Measurement Certificate for completed erection work and stringing work (TL projects) with client for booking of revenue and with subcontractor for booking of cost.

Profil recherché :

Education :
- BE/ in Mechanical /Civil /Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
- PMP certification/training preferable.
- Fluent in English, French & Arabic.

Experience: 10 years domain experience in TL. 5 years as site in charge of TL 225kV and above. French/ Arabic preferred. MENA experience preferred.

- Project Management skills: Co-ordination, schedule management, procurement and logistics management, mobilization of site, establishing rules and regulations, handling contracts.
- Financial management skills: Budget management, Cost Control, revenue management.
- People Management: Leadership, Client management, team management, vendor/ sub-contractor management.
- Communication: Ability to communicate with people of all levels in international work environment.
