The factory is planned to go operational in the first quarter 2017 and will produce the newest generation of onshore blades for export and the domestic market.
We have now begun recruiting some roles for our state of the art facility, where you will be offered a dynamic career, working with the latest technology in the renewable energy industry. We are now recruiting for a Warehouse and Transport Coordinator to be part of this exciting business.
Poste :
Responsibilities:The Warehouse and Transport Coordinator will be responsible for defining and ensuring strategy and implementation of warehouse standards, policies and procedures. This role is also responsible for the overall direction of transport activities as well as pre-assembly tasks designated to the warehouse.
Some stays overseas in one of our existing plants will be required, particularly in the first months of joining Siemens as you learn more about the Warehousing in a blade production environment. Until the start of production you will interface with HR in the scoping, recruitment and development of a local Warehouse organization for the blade factory. Furthermore you will support the setup of the Warehouse operations for example in terms of equipment, processes and material flow.
The specific demands of the role are described through the principal accountabilities below:
• Head overall organization assigned, and lead all related staff
• Define training and development needs and steer development
• Take decisions on Warehouse & Transport budget allocation and monitor overall budget efficiency
• Implement global policies and guidelines, and define and ensure implementation of function specific processes, procedures, methods and tools
• Initiate, develop and monitor projects to design and/or improve existing processes
• Provide regular communication regarding strategy and execution to management and employees
• Monitor cooperation with external suppliers and maintenance service providers
• Decide on resource allocation.
Profil recherché :
Qualify:• Experienced and degree qualified in Warehouse & Logistics
• Significant experience of working in a similar role, ideally within a large scale manufacturing / automotive environment
• Working knowledge of managing operational workers
• Comprehensive knowledge of Warehousing and Logistic concepts and related warehouse functions
• Structured operational hands on approach
• Strong leadership and management capabilities
• Experience of lean methodologies / tools
• Must be familiar with problem solving methodology
• Resource planning experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Good English language skills
