Poste :
As a EHS Advisor, your main missions are:- Ensures that Siemens Gamesa complies with local Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation, Siemens Gamesa standards and Site requirements on a day to day basis.
- The person in this position also collaborates with Siemens Gamesa contractors in order to achieve these EHS requirements.
- Implement project specific EHS Plan and Emergency Response Plan. Responsible for monitoring and assessing safety performance on site and assisting the Site Manager to implement improvement plans, as well as driving the ongoing Zero Harm safety culture.
- Act as an advisor to the Site Management Team on all EHS matters.
- Be a role model for Zero Harm and Siemens Gamesa EHS Standards, ensuring that behavioural safety and leadership is demonstrated at all times.
Profil recherché :
- Experience of working as an EHS Advisor within the Renewables Industry or experience in other high risk industries such as Construction / Oil and Gas / Marine Operations.
- Preferably experience working on large scale projects.
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
- Excellent people and team working skills, the ability to demonstrate experience of working with different cultures would be preferable
- Experience in leading, advising and coaching people on construction site.
- To work on a rotational work pattern within Europe, Middle East and Africa.
(UKIE specific - Significant knowledge of CDM / PSCS regulations and Environmental requirements relating to construction projects with relevant EHS certification and qualification (ie. NEBOSH Construction, NVQ5, NEBOSH Diploma, BSc Hons)
Excellent level of fitness – there will be regular climbing involved in monitoring WTG work teams.
