CDG is a public financial institution with a dual mandate:
* Collect and secure regulated savings, particularly deposits from the CNSS, the National Savings Bank, legal professions, and escrow accounts.
* Channel long-term savings towards profitable investments that drive socio-economic growth.
CDG's mission is to create value:
* Secure and grow depositors' savings.
* Support the national development strategy through projects that create positive externalities.
To achieve this mission, CDG implements a Group strategy focused on specific business lines covering large parts of the Moroccan economy.
While these business lines differ in terms of allocated resources and preferred areas of intervention, their purpose converges towards a single objective: creating real value for the Kingdom's development challenges.
Reporting to the Head of the Management Mandates Monitoring Unit, within the Investment Portfolio Department of the Investment and Holdings Pole, your main responsibilities will be:
1. Supervision and monitoring of the outsourcing mandate for the financial management of CDG's own portfolio
• Contribute to the development and updating of the framework for managing the outsourcing mandate.
• Participate in defining the mandate's performance objectives, in coordination with various stakeholders.
• Contribute to developing the investment strategy in collaboration with the relevant bodies.
• Analyze market operation requests proposed by the mandate holder outside the pre-established management framework, before submitting them to the competent bodies for validation.
• Ensure compliance with strategic orientations, investment constraints, and mandate provisions.
2. Support for steering and investment committees
• Participate in monitoring meetings with the mandate holder to review and approve investment strategy proposals for the various portfolios managed under mandate.
• Contribute to the preparation of documents and materials for CDG's various governance bodies.
• Act as the interface between the mandate holder and the various entities and bodies concerned by the mandate.
• Ensure follow-up on the implementation of investment strategies approved by the various committees.
• Contribute to evaluating the mandate holder's management results and analyzing their performance.
3. Reporting and continuous improvement
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the unit's activities.
• Prepare activity-related reports and monitor steering indicators.
• Design and evolve tools for monitoring and measuring the performance of management mandates, covering various asset classes.
• Participate in optimizing the processes for monitoring, controlling, and steering mandates.
What we are looking for:
• Master's degree (Bac+5) from a Business School, Engineering School, or University Master's in Financial Markets, Asset Management, Financial Engineering, Economics, or equivalent.
• Approximately 4 years of experience in asset management, financial markets, investment portfolio monitoring, or a similar role.
What you will bring:
• Strong command of financial markets and investment products.
• Knowledge of portfolio management and performance measurement principles.
• Proficiency in reporting and financial analysis techniques.
• Good command of Excel and office tools; knowledge of asset management and Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
• Analytical and synthesis skills.
• Rigor and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team and cross-functionally.
