IT Steering Officer - PMO (M/F) - Casablanca

Mission

He/She ensures operational steering follow-up and reporting of a domain's activity (strategic, project portfolio, programs, operational activities...).

He/She manages the provisional resource allocation schedules, monitors achievements, and the project budget. He/She alerts project managers in case of deviation from forecasts.

He/She is involved either directly in projects or on behalf of a department for transversal monitoring of the project portfolio.

Activities & Tasks

Planning:

• Contributes to the development of the project portfolio, taking into account the constraints and dependencies of the various resources that must be engaged in terms of costs, deadlines, and skills to achieve the expected quality.

Monitoring of activities and allocated resources:

• Verifies the progress of the project/program according to the defined requirements (quality, cost, deadline...) and compliance with commitments.
• Verifies the application of the methodology and best practices.
• Performs risk analysis.

Project/Program plan steering:

• Evaluates the current and forecast capacity of resources and tasks, proposes optimization and possible reallocation.
• Proposes adjustments and replanning if necessary.

Budget monitoring and reporting:

• Monitors and updates the budget.
• Monitors the means allocated against forecasts (consumed, remaining to be done, schedule).
• Produces the necessary reporting for the management of the concerned departments and for the creation of dashboards.

Governance:

• He/She leads the process of developing master plans and breaks them down into a roadmap.

• Adherence to committee meetings and their associated minutes.

Required profile :

• Master's degree (engineering school, university, or equivalent) in computer science, project management, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience as a PMO, ideally in the banking sector or within an IT department.
• Proven experience in leading committees, managing complex projects, and producing management reports.
