Asset Tracking Officer - Tanger

The SOCIETE DE DEVELOPPEMENT DES SERVICES PUBLICS DE DISTRIBUTION S.A. is a Local Development company, whose missions are to participate in the management and development of Public Distribution Services, through, in particular, the following services:

• Support in the financial and financial engineering field, and in the mobilization and management of financing;
• Monitoring and evaluation of management and performance indicators inherent to Public Services;
• Management of financing debts related to the distribution activity;
• Harmonization of common rules and processes concerning the management of Public Services.

Our company supports players in the electricity, drinking water, and liquid sanitation distribution sector, particularly the newly established GCTs (Groupments de Collectivités Territoriales) and SRMs (Sociétés Régionales Multiservices).

Job :

We are looking for an "Asset Tracking Officer" profile who will ensure operational control, rigorous monitoring, and updating of the asset status. They will actively contribute to the conservation, protection, and enhancement of movable, immovable, and land assets, in accordance with the missions of the Permanent Control Service and current rules.

Main Missions:

I. Asset Management and Monitoring:
- Ensure the administrative and technical monitoring of movable and immovable assets.
- Participate in conservation and protection actions for assets in the field.
- Ensure the execution and monitoring of physical asset inventories.
- Apply and update asset management procedures and tools.
- Oversee the evaluation and enhancement of assets.
- Follow up on land acquisition files and expropriation procedures necessary for the investment program.
- Control land assets under the management contract.
- Produce regular reports on the state of assets.

II. Monitoring of Contractual Commitments:
- Ensure the monitoring and control of commitments related to maintenance, upkeep, and renewal contracts for assets made available to the manager.
- Analyze and control compliance with contractual obligations regarding asset preservation.
- Participate in the analysis of tenders, works contracts, and the monitoring of maintenance services. 

Required profile :

Required Education and Skills:

• State diploma (Bac+5) or equivalent in Administrative Law or a similar field.
• Professional experience of at least 3 years in a similar or equivalent role;
• Knowledge of the Water and Electricity distribution sector is a plus.
