Job :

The Boilermaker is responsible for the fabrication, modification, repair, and maintenance of all metal equipment and structures at the aggregate production site. They work both in the workshop and directly on the material processing facilities (crushers, screens, conveyors) to ensure their availability, performance, and safety. Their role is essential to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment, in strict compliance with safety rules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Fabrication and Repair of Boiled Equipment: Create, modify, or repair specific boilermaking assemblies for the activity, such as:
• Hoppers, chutes, and frames.
• Casing, stairs, platforms, and guardrails.
• Ducts and support structures for conveyors.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Participate in the maintenance of material processing facilities by carrying out inspections, diagnostics, and repair interventions on metal structures.
• Boilermaking and Welding Work 
• Perform tracing, cutting, bending, and assembly operations on metal parts from plans.
• Perform various types of welding on steel.
• Preparation and Site Surveys: Travel to the quarry site to take measurements and perform the
• dimensional surveys necessary before starting fabrication in the workshop.
• Control and Quality: Ensure self-inspection of the conformity of manufactured or repaired parts
• (dimensions, geometry, welding quality).
• Safety and Regulations: Strictly apply safety rules, QSE (Quality, Safety,
• Environment) regulations, and the site's internal regulations

Required profile :

Technical Skills:

• Mastery of industrial boilermaking techniques: tracing, cutting, forming, assembly.
• Mastery of welding techniques.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of the properties of steels and other metals used in industry.
• Knowledge of safety rules and current standards in the industrial environment and quarries.
• Ability to perform development and report measurements on materials.
• Use of boilermaking tools and machines (shears, bending machines, etc.).
• Performing assemblies by welding, bolting, or riveting.
• Performing conformity checks and finishing.
• Autonomy and ability to take initiative.
• Rigor, meticulousness, and attention to detail.
• Versatility, ability to adapt to various interventions in the workshop and in the field.
• Team spirit and good communication skills.
