Job :

We are hiring a Chief Accountant.

Reporting to the Financial Department, you will be responsible for the reliability of the company's accounting, tax, and financial operations. In this role, your main tasks will include:

• Ensuring accounting is maintained in accordance with current accounting and tax standards.
• Supervising accounting closings and operations impacting the company's results (provisions, PPD, etc.).
• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other legal documents.
• Supervising monthly and annual accounting closings.
• Providing accounting and tax reporting to the Head Office Accounting Department.
• Analyzing, controlling, and ensuring the justification and reliability of accounts.
• Supervising fixed asset management.
• Managing the company's tax obligations, validating and tracking tax declarations (VAT, business tax, etc.).
• Identifying and implementing tax optimization measures.
• Justifying securities and investment accounts.
• Validating accounting correction entries.
• Participating in the accounting and tax treatment of specific operations (Joint Ventures, exports, etc.).
• Carrying out operations for the establishment and dissolution of Joint Ventures.
• Identifying needs for creating or updating the company's reference data.
• Managing relationships with auditors and the tax authorities.
   

Required profile :

Profile sought:

With a Bachelor's degree (Bac+4) or higher in Accounting, you have 10 to 20 years of experience in similar accounting roles, ideally gained in the construction, energy, and electrical installation sector, or in an industrial environment.

You have excellent command of accounting and tax rules, Moroccan accounting standards, and IFRS, as well as a strong understanding of tax law.

Technical skills:

• Mastery of tax and accounting rules.
• Preparation of financial statements and social documents for various legal entities.
• Production of accounting and tax reporting.
• Analysis, control, and justification of accounts.
• Validation and monitoring of tax declarations.
• Organization and management of monthly and annual accounting closings.
• Definition and monitoring of the calendar for legal, tax, and financial deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer tools, especially accounting software and Excel.

Meticulous, organized, and with an excellent analytical mind, you also possess strong management and communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
