Job :

Mission: To lead the department responsible for the technical and operational reception of drinking water supply structures and networks, from the study phase to the transfer to operations, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory conformity, and asset performance requirements.

Activities:

  • Pilot of the service
    • Organize, plan, and supervise the activities of the AEP Works and Network Reception service.
    • Manage, motivate, and evaluate the service teams.
    • Define priorities, allocate workloads, and monitor performance indicators.
  • Reception of structures and networks
    • Lead the reception operations for AEP structures (reservoirs, pumping stations, pipelines, hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment).
    • Verify the conformity of the structures built in relation to:
      • the contracts and contractual documents,
      • the approved studies,
      • the technical standards and best practices,
      • the operational requirements.
    • Participate in tests, water filling, and commissioning.
  • Projects / Operations Interface
    • Ensure the interface between the Investment and Operations departments.
    • Guarantee the quality of the transfer of structures to operations (as-built files, notices, plans, etc.).
  • Management of reservations and continuous improvement
    • Identify, formalize, and track the resolution of reservations.
    • Capitalize on feedback and contribute to improving reception procedures.
  • Reporting and governance
    • Provide periodic reports to management.
    • Participate in steering meetings and technical committees.

Required profile :

Academic background:

  • State-recognized engineering degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent

Professional experience:

  • More than 3 years of experience in the drinking water sector.
  • Proven experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • construction and reception of AEP structures,
    • operation and maintenance of structures and networks,
    • hydraulic project management.
  • Experience in team management or cross-functional coordination is appreciated.

Required skills:

  • Technical:
    • Mastery of drinking water supply structures and networks.
    • Good knowledge of standards, regulations, and practices for construction reception.
    • Technical analysis and reading skills for project documents (plans, specifications, reports).
    • Knowledge of AEP structure operation and maintenance.
  • Organizational and managerial:
    • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize activities.
    • Leadership and ability to manage a team.
    • Rigor, sense of responsibility, and synthesis skills.
  • Interpersonal:
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
