Head of Acceptance of Works and Networks - Casablanca

Job :

Mission: To manage the department responsible for the technical and operational acceptance of drinking water supply works and networks, from the study phase to transfer to operations, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory conformity, and asset performance requirements.

Activities:

• Service Management
  • Organize, plan, and supervise the activities of the Works and AEP Network Acceptance service.
  • Manage, motivate, and evaluate the service teams.
  • Define priorities, allocate tasks, and monitor performance indicators.
• Acceptance of Works and Networks
  • Manage the acceptance operations for AEP works (reservoirs, pumping stations, pipelines, hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment).
  • Verify the conformity of completed works against:
    • contracts and contractual documents,
    • approved studies,
    • technical standards and best practices,
    • operational requirements.
  • Participate in tests, water filling, and commissioning.
• Project / Operations Interface
  • Ensure the interface between the Investment and Operations departments.
  • Guarantee the quality of works transfer to operations (as-built files, manuals, plans, etc.).
• Management of Reservations and Continuous Improvement
  • Identify, formalize, and track the resolution of reservations.
  • Capitalize on lessons learned and contribute to the improvement of acceptance procedures.
• Reporting and Governance
  • Provide periodic reports to management.
  • Participate in steering meetings and technical committees.

Required profile :

Academic Background:

• State-recognized engineering degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent

Professional Experience:

• More than 3 years of experience in the drinking water sector.
• Confirmed experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • construction and acceptance of AEP works,
  • operation and maintenance of works and networks,
  • management of hydraulic projects.
• Experience in team management or cross-functional coordination is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Technical:
  • Mastery of drinking water supply works and networks.
  • Good knowledge of standards, regulations, and practices for construction acceptance.
  • Ability to conduct technical analysis and read project documents (plans, technical specifications, reports).
  • Knowledge of AEP works operation and maintenance.
• Organizational and Managerial:
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize activities.
  • Leadership and ability to manage a team.
  • Rigor, sense of responsibility, and synthesis skills.
• Interpersonal:
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
