- Monitor technological trends and contribute to the strategy and service evolution within communication and storage platforms.
- Provide support and management for NetBackup and related storage products.
- Implement and maintain multiprotocol environments (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS) within NetApp NAS systems.
- Perform daily backup operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and handle restore procedures.
- Execute data migrations for various operating systems, including Solaris, AIX, Linux, and Windows.
- Collaborate with systems administrators to diagnose and resolve storage-related issues or performance bottlenecks.
- Manage storage tasks including allocation, LUN masking, and performance tuning.
- Set up and monitor storage performance alerts and notification systems.
- Develop and maintain CLI scripts for NetBackup and Brocade fiber switch configuration.
- Participate in firmware upgrades, storage virtualization, and other infrastructure changes.
- Engage in Agile planning processes, helping define requirements and user stories for internal teams.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications in storage or backup technologies are a plus.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with data storage technologies, including ONTAP, Hitachi, StorageGRID, and Brocade SAN (FC network); experience with other vendors (IBM, HPE) is also acceptable.
- 7+ years of experience with enterprise backup platforms such as NetBackup and Commvault (TSM experience will be considered).
- 7+ years of technical or operational experience in storage and backup administration in an enterprise IT environment.
- 5+ years of general networking experience.
- Proven experience implementing and supporting multiprotocol environments (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS) in NetApp NAS systems.
- Working knowledge of VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scripting using Python.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB.
- Experience using Jira and Agile methodologies (Epics, User Stories).
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in large-scale environments.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-standards environment.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and factual accuracy.
