Job :

Main tasks:

• Develop and maintain firmware modules: network stack (WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP), remote management (TR-069/ TR-369, CWMP, USP)
• Excellent knowledge of usual services and protocols for residential gateways: TR-069/TR-369, Ethernet, Wi-Fi.
• Supervise and ensure compliance with critical contractual deadlines
• Work at a low level (bootloader, kernel drivers, BSP) on heterogeneous processor architectures (MIPS, ARM) depending on the product generation.
• Analyze and fix bugs reported in testing or production (low-level debug, logs, crash dumps)
• Participate in writing technical specifications and estimating development effort
• Perform code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the firmware (unit tests, CI)
• Document changes and transfer knowledge to test/support teams

Required profile :

Required technical skills:

• Languages: C/C++ (essential), Shell/Python scripting
• Environment: Embedded Linux (buildroot, Yocto, Open WRT), Git version management
• Low-level hardware debugging: JTAG, UART console, logic analyzer for hardware/software diagnostics.
• Embedded security: secure boot, firmware encryption, secure OTA update management (appreciated asset).
• Network: TCP/IP, xDSL/GPON/DOCSIS, Wi-Fi 802.11, VoIP/SIP, NAT/QoS
• Remote management protocols: TR-069/TR-369
• Knowledge of hardware architectures (telecom SoCs, U-Boot type bootloaders)
• MIPS and ARM processor architectures (32/64 bits): knowledge of instruction sets, memory constraints, and low-level optimization specific to each architecture.

• Master's degree (Bac+5) (engineering school or master's in embedded systems/computer science/electronics)
• Technical English (specs, communication with international R&D teams)
• Rigor, autonomy, interest in low-level debugging
