Job :

  • Main objective:

Solve technical problems in production, optimize existing solutions, and ensure the update of technical files for smooth and compliant production.

You will work in the production phase to ensure diagnosis, problem analysis, and change management on mechanical systems in production. Your role will be to characterize anomalies, propose corrective solutions, and manage their implementation, while ensuring documentary traceability and technical compliance.

A. Diagnosis and Analysis

Characterize and diagnose anomalies:

  • Collect and centralize incoming feedback (field returns, non-conformities).
  • Classify problems (ENG vs non-ENG).

Conduct field investigations to identify root causes.

Perform root cause analyses (5M, Ishikawa methods, etc.).

Manage derogation requests (justification, validation, follow-up).

B. Change Processing

Study and execute Change Requests (CR):

  • Analyze technical and industrial impact.
  • Propose corrective solutions (design, process, tooling).

Coordinate the production and validation of prototypes (if necessary).

Identify the means to be implemented (tooling, jigs, procedures).

C. Implementation and Validation

Prepare and present modification requests via CR (Review Committee).

Manage or perform the update of 3D/2D documents (CATIA, PLM).

Control and approve deliverables (EBOM, 3D/2D drawings, technical files).

Update tracking tools (DMA, PLM) and close open CR/CO.

D. Communication and Closure

Prepare and present MAPs (Modification Authorization Process) internally and support client presentations.

Analyze and respond to client Feedback Forms (FA).

Required profile :

Education: Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, industrialization, or industrial maintenance.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in mechanical design or production support (railway/industrial sector appreciated).

Additional Assets:

  • Experience in non-conformity management or continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of homologation or certification processes.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, updating drawings and models.
  • DMA, PLM, change tracking and traceability.
  • Problem-solving methods (5M, 8D, FMEA).
  • Management of Change Requests, coordination with field teams.
  • Knowledge of railway/industrial standards (e.g., ISO 9001, EN 45545).
  • Writing technical reports, presenting to committees and clients.
