Aya Gold & Silver is a growing Canadian silver producer operating in the Kingdom of Morocco.

Aya is the only purely silver mining company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It operates the high-grade Zgounder silver mine and explores its highly prospective lands along the South Atlasic Accident, several of which contain old producing mines and historical resources. In addition to its Moroccan mining assets, Aya also holds the Tijirit gold project in Mauritania, which is advancing to the feasibility study stage.

As part of its expansion, AYA Gold & Silver is looking to strengthen its teams with skills in various trades, particularly maintenance.

Job :

Mission:

Ensure the deployment, animation, and improvement of the Quality & Environment management system to guarantee regulatory compliance, control of environmental risks, and the development of a continuous improvement culture on site.
 

Main responsibilities

- Guarantee regulatory compliance and adherence to internal requirements.
- Deploy and maintain the Quality & Environment management system.
- Lead audits, inspections, compliance analyses, and action plans.
- Ensure follow-up of non-conformities and corrective actions until closure.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and performance indicators.
- Train, raise awareness, and support teams and partner companies.
- Produce Quality & Environment reports for management.

- Regulatory compliance rate.
- Completion and closure rate of action plans within deadlines.
- Number and processing time of non-conformities.
- Number of audits and inspections carried out according to schedule.
- Participation rate in awareness and training actions.
- Evolution of environmental indicators (waste, water, emissions, environmental incidents).
- Progress level of actions from operational reviews and flash reports.

Profile

- Master's degree / Engineer in Quality, Environment, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a mining or industrial environment.
- Mastery of management systems, regulatory requirements, and audit techniques.
- Strong skills in leadership, organization, communication, and change management.
