As a Transportation Economist Engineer, reporting to the Mobility and Planning Division, you will be responsible for managing and carrying out the following tasks:
• Conducting traffic studies and economic and financial profitability analyses for new infrastructure or redevelopment projects.
• Carrying out general studies in transportation economics: Travel Demand Management (TDM), traffic plans, strategic studies for transport infrastructure.
• Urban traffic studies: intersection analysis, capacity calculations, proposing solutions to improve traffic flow.
Graduated from an engineering school, specializing in Transportation Economics or Civil Engineering.
Significant experience of 5 years in a similar role.
Proficiency in French and Arabic; English is a plus.
Proficiency in the following software:
-Macroscopic traffic modeling
-Microscopic traffic simulation
-Statistical data calculation and analysis
