Mission:

- The Maintenance Preparer is responsible for preparing, structuring, and optimizing maintenance work to ensure its execution safely, on time, and at the lowest cost.
- They ensure the quality of preparation files, the availability of spare parts, and the reliability of data in GuidTi
 

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of maintenance work
    • Analyze intervention requests and work orders
    • Define the scope of work and intervention sequences
    • Develop preparation files including:
             o Detailed operating procedures
             o Necessary tools and resources
             o Spare parts and consumables
             o Estimated durations and required skills
             o HSE requirements (risk analysis, work permits, LOTO)

2. Support for planning and scheduling
    • Prepare work to make it "ready for planning" (Ready Backlog)
    • Collaborate with planners and maintenance supervisors
    • Participate in the preparation of scheduled and major shutdowns
    • Adjust priorities in coordination with production

3. Management of spare parts and materials
    • Identify the parts needed for each intervention
    • Check warehouse availability and prepare maintenance kits
    • Initiate purchase requests if necessary
    • Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain to avoid delays

4. CMMS Management (GUIDTI)
    • Create, update, and close work orders in the CMMS
    • Ensure the quality of entered data:

             - Consumed parts
             - Failure codes and technical comments
    • Update equipment history and associated documentation

5. Preventive Maintenance
   • Prepare and optimize preventive maintenance plans
   • Review frequencies and task content
   • Contribute to monitoring preventive compliance (PM Compliance)

6. Safety, Quality, and Compliance
   • Systematically integrate HSE requirements into work files
   • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards
   • Participate in risk analyses and feedback (REX)

7. Continuous Improvement
   • Use field feedback to improve operating procedures
   • Contribute to reducing intervention times and rework
   • Participate in failure analyses and reliability improvement actions
 

Required profile :

Required Skills and Aptitudes3

Technical
• Solid knowledge in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
• Reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and PID diagrams
• Preparation, planning, and scheduling methods
• Proficiency in a CMMS (GUIDTI)
• Knowledge of fixed equipment (crushing, grinding, conveyors, pumps)

Required Training

• Education: Associate's degree / Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in industrial maintenance, ideally in a mining or process environment
• Languages: French required - Technical English appreciated
• Tools: CMMS, Excel, office tools
