Our company is an industrial firm that makes biscuits and chocolate. It has a modern production facility that is constantly growing. It is designed to meet quality, consistency, and industrial performance requirements.

Job :

As part of developing our international business, our company, which makes biscuits, filled treats, and chocolate-covered products, is hiring an Export Manager.

Reporting to the General Management, the Export Manager's main job will be to grow the company's sales in international markets, especially in Africa, the Middle East, and other markets with high potential.

Main tasks

* Define and implement the company's export sales strategy.
* Identify and seek out new markets, importers, distributors, wholesalers, and business partners.
* Develop and keep a portfolio of international clients.
* Analyze target markets, competition, price levels, and consumer habits.
* Select priority markets and create sales action plans for each country.
* Negotiate prices, volumes, payment terms, exclusivity, and distribution agreements.
* Prepare sales offers, quotes, price lists, and pro forma invoices.
* Manage export orders, from order receipt to customer delivery.
* Coordinate operations with the Supply Chain, Sales Administration, Production, Quality, Finance, and Logistics departments.
* Check product availability, production lead times, and shipping dates.
* Follow up on order preparation, container loading, and international transport operations.
* Ensure export documents are correct: invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs documents, bills of lading, and health certificates.
* Make sure products, packaging, and labels meet the regulatory requirements of destination countries.
* Track customer payments, outstanding amounts, bank guarantees, and risks related to export operations.
* Organize business trips and participate in international trade shows, fairs, and professional meetings.
* Prepare samples, catalogs, sales presentations, and materials for prospects.
* Track export performance by country, customer, product, volume, revenue, and profit.
* Create regular reports for the General Management.
* Stay informed about commercial, regulatory, and competitive information in international markets.
* Represent the company to partners, distributors, institutions, and organizations related to foreign trade.

Required profile :

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in international trade, management, marketing, logistics, or equivalent qualification.
* Successful experience in an export sales role.
* Experience in the food industry, biscuit making, chocolate making, or fast-moving consumer goods is a significant advantage.
* Good knowledge of international trade, transport, customs, and export payment procedures.
* Proficiency in Incoterms and the documents needed for international operations.
* Strong skills in sales negotiation and market development.
* Ability to analyze logistics costs, selling prices, and profitability by market.
* Proficiency in French and English.
* Proficiency in Arabic and other foreign languages is a plus.
* Good command of computer tools, Excel, ERP systems, and sales tracking tools.
* Willingness to travel frequently within Morocco and abroad.
