Job :

Mission:
- Ensure, while respecting impartiality rules, assistance to SRM-CS entities on aspects related to metering and other Electrical ESM,
- Manage technical activities related to the metrological management of Electricity meters, including fleet control, expertise, data updates, connection monitoring, and equipment compliance analysis.
- Organize and monitor the operation of the Electrical ESM laboratory, ensuring equipment calibration, facility maintenance, ambient condition management, method development, and technical report production.
- Ensure the efficient management of laboratory staff and equipment to guarantee a safe, high-performing work environment that complies with regulatory and standards requirements.

Activities:
• Schedule calibration operations for Electricity meters (new meters, fleet control, customer meters): validate delivery slips, track meter removals;
• Comply with the equipment connection schedule;
• Perform expertise on electricity meters;
• Ensure the update of the electricity meter database;
• Calibrate ESM internally (Meters, PAM, MUT, AR, ...);
• Calculate and establish measurement uncertainty balance;
• Verify and interpret external calibration results;
• Develop, verify, modify, and validate methods;
• Analysis of calibration results, including compliance declarations
• Make decisions on the compliance of ESMs;
• Prepare calibration reports (certificates, CR, FD, with review and approval of results;
• Establish and monitor the implementation of the annual maintenance plan for laboratory facilities and equipment;
• Create and update life records,
• Monitor the connection of standards,
• Identify metrology needs (standards, ESM),

• Manage the maintenance of the electricity meter test bench,
• Ensure daily monitoring of laboratory environmental conditions,
• Sign certificates and calibration reports with authorized personnel;
• Define, control, and enforce Prevention and Safety measures,
• Prepare reports and summaries of activities under their responsibility,
 

Required profile :

Academic Training:
State engineer's degree recognized by the state in electrical engineering, metrology, instrumentation, electrotechnics, electromechanics, or equivalent
Professional Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in an accredited laboratory environment or technical ESM service is desired;
Required Skills:
Knowledge of calibration principles, traceability, and measurement uncertainty;
Data analysis skills.
