Job :

As part of our business development, we are looking for an Import / Export Logistics Manager. Reporting to the Purchasing and Logistics Department, you will be responsible for managing the import and export operations of equipment for our projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, regulatory requirements, and operational constraints.

Your main tasks:


Import Operations Management

  • Manage all international transport, transit, and customs clearance operations for supplier orders outside Morocco.
  • Organize shipments according to Incoterms and project constraints (road, sea, air, etc.).
  • Track deliveries to their final destination (site or warehouse).
  • Open and manage import files.
  • Prepare bank domiciliations, documentary credits, advance payments, and other import payment methods.
  • Verify the compliance of shipping documents and coordinate their processing with suppliers, freight forwarders, and banks.

Customs Management

  • Determine the customs classification for imported equipment.
  • Estimate applicable duties and taxes.
  • Prepare customs clearance instructions according to the appropriate customs regime.
  • Manage temporary imports, operations under free zone regimes, and equipment exports.

Project Support

  • Participate in estimating transport, transit, and customs clearance costs during tender phases.
  • Advise Purchasing teams on international payment methods and associated contractual clauses.
  • Support project teams in customs duty exemption procedures and in preparing the necessary administrative files.
  • Provide regular reporting on the progress of import operations.

Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, banks, and suppliers.
  • Review invoices related to international logistics operations.
  • Provide the finance teams with all necessary documents for accounting and settlement of operations.
  • Compliance

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, internal procedures, and Group rules regarding Ethics, Compliance, Human Rights, and Internal Control.


Required profile :

Profile Sought

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in managing import/export, transit, and customs clearance operations.
  • Good command of Moroccan customs procedures and international trade.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, documentary credits, and international payment methods.
  • Proficiency in office software, especially Excel.
  • Proficiency in professional French and English is essential.
