HSE Specialist - Occupational Health and Safety Engineer (M/F) - Casablanca

Job :

Reporting to the HSE Department, your main responsibilities are:

• To ensure the safety, health, and well-being of employees at their workplace, while guaranteeing compliance with current regulations and promoting a safety culture within your scope.

Job Activities:

• Accident Prevention: Implement action plans to prevent incidents, occupational diseases, and dangerous situations.
• Lead root cause analysis of accidents and potentially serious incidents.
• Implementation of an HSE Management System: Deploy life-saving procedures and follow the Occupational Health and Safety Roadmap. Implement and maintain the OHSMS.
• Training and Awareness: Participate in the development of the HSE training plan. Train employees on HSE topics within your scope.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Track the evolution of applicable laws and standards and ensure compliance within your scope.
• Advice to Management: Participate in the development of the company's safety policy and support managers in its implementation.
• HSE Performance Monitoring: Analyze accident rates, near-misses, and other indicators to adjust prevention actions.
• Audits and Inspections: Develop a schedule for quality, safety, health, and environment audits and zone audits. Support managers in adopting audit findings and establish associated action plans. Participate in mandatory audits.
• Management of External Companies: Lead the implementation of Prevention Plans. Train service providers on quality, safety, health, and environment procedures. Conduct site visits.
• HSE Governance: Prepare and lead the Operational Safety Committee for your scope and monitor the resulting actions.

Required profile :

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree / Business School Diploma / State Engineering Degree in HSE/QSE
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills:

• Principles of occupational risk prevention
• Risk analysis techniques (FMEA, fault tree analysis, etc.)
• Audit and certification procedures
• Regulatory and documentary monitoring tools
