As part of strengthening our human resources, our company based in Meknes is recruiting an Accounting Manager


Job :

Reporting to the Administrative & Financial Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation and control of monthly and annual accounting statements and reports;
• Control and validation of financial statements and communicate them to the General Director and the Administrative and Financial Director, accompanied by professional comments and analyses;
• Calculation of corporate tax and preparation of the annual tax return;
• Control and approval of social and tax declarations (CNSS, Professional Tax, Personal Income Tax, Form 9421, Corporate Tax...);
• Control of VAT and recovery files;
• Simulation of VAT for the next month;
• Control and approval of payroll and bank reconciliations;
• Control and verification of permanent inventory;
• Produce a monthly report for the General Director on tax compliance and optimization;
• Produce a monthly report for the General Director on the analysis and verification of accounts;
• Collaborate with statutory auditors and supervisors in the framework of audit work;
• Ensure follow-up of reservations made by the statutory auditor and auditors;
• Ensure proper conservation and archiving of accounting records (journals, general ledger, general balance, subsidiary balances, account analyses, accounting package, ...);
• Ensure proper conservation and archiving of tax records (tax package, tax and regulatory declarations, ...);
• Manage the interface with the Administrative and Financial Control Managers of the subsidiaries (follow accounting and retrieve supporting documents...);
• Ensure compliance with the accounting and tax calendar;
• Analysis and verification of accounts;
• Perform any other tasks as requested by management.

Required training and experience level:

• Graduate of a top Business School: ENCG and ISCAE, specializing in audit, accounting expertise, or business management, with perfect command of accounting and financial management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position and experience in an accounting firm.
Required qualifications:
• Perfect command of accounting, tax, and financial techniques;
• Very broad knowledge of social and tax law;
• Knowledge and mastery of analytical and traditional accounting software;
• Ability to manage the financial management of the company's key accounts;
• Managerial skills;
• Work organization;
• Time management skills;
• Communication skills;
• Teamwork skills;
• Mastery of an accounting management ERP.
