Job Purpose
Effectively and productively coordinate, manage and carry on planning and scheduling functions. Proof all activities have been captured per SOW, proof activity sequencing. Check float in the schedule makes sence. Must be able to run autonomous under PCM and/or SME guidelines. Provide administrative support to the nominated Project Planner. Has comprehensive understanding and application of principles, theories, concepts, standards and JESA BEST PRACTICES. Performs work of complex scope. Works under general supervision, participates in setting assignment objectives reviewing adequacy on completion. Represents organization, interacting with internal and external personnel on significant matters.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

• Assist PCM, PM and/or SME to enter all Project tasks and associated resources and time frames into project planning software. Understand the WBS concept and AWP
• Assist in baseline schedule development. Able to develop WBS with the assistance of PCM and/or SME.
• Coordinate with discipline leads to balance equivalent man-power for resource loaded schedules and prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis narrative
• Preparation of Design, Procurement and Construction Status Report for projects per PCM, PM and/or SME.
• Assist in gathering
• Able to obtain input data from various sources (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, potential delay inputs, risk).
• Must be able to prepare schedules using the quality metrics
• Update the Design, Procurement and Construction Status Report as per project requirements, and PCM, PM and/or SME guidelines.
• Assist in gathering and coordinating reception of data from different departments and contractors
• Able to analyze critical path(s) and coordinate with SME BEST PRACTICES.
• Confirm sequencing of activities in the schedule are realistic or achievable
• Assist PCM, PM and/or SME with preparation of project progress curves from schedule and resource data (MS Excel and/or P6 Primavera).
• Assist in gathering data
• Able to prepare productivity reports per discipline
• Assist in Preparation and updating of project schedules. Provide assistance during IAP.
• Understand how to check schedule critical path and validate.
• Collect, validate IAP deliverables going into the schedule and align agreement with project team. Validate IAP and benchmark. Validate all activities have been captured in the schedule.
• Able to support IAP and develop a sound baseline schedule by obtaining buy-in from project team. Guarantee P6 database is utilized correctly.
• Confirm all activities have been captured in the schedule.
• Input of activities and man-hours (resources) into project schedule per PCM, PM and/or SME.
• Assist in gathering data with estimating and discipline leads as per agreed WBS and/or AWP.
• Able to validate activity durations and EMP (equivalent man-power) and compare to discipline availability
