Our company, a major player in the Distribution sector, is looking for a dynamic Fleet Manager to join its teams based in Skhirat. As Fleet Manager, your main goals will be to ensure the optimal and secure management of our vehicle fleet. You will be responsible for the performance, maintenance, and compliance of all transport resources, while controlling costs and continuously improving operational processes. Your role is essential to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our logistics operations.
Your duties will cover several key areas:
- Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles to ensure their operational availability.
- Manage the costs associated with the fleet: fuel, insurance, maintenance, repairs.
- Ensure compliance with current regulations concerning vehicles and drivers.
- Optimize the allocation and use of vehicles according to operational needs.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers (garages, insurance companies, rental companies).
- Implement and monitor performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of fleet management.
- Supervise and motivate the teams responsible for fleet management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes related to the fleet.
Required profile :
To be considered for this position, a Master's degree (Bac +5) is required. Higher education specializing in Logistics / Transport is a major asset for fully understanding the challenges of the role.
We are looking for someone with significant experience, between 5 and 10 years, in managing vehicle fleets or car fleets, ideally gained in the distribution sector or a related field.
- Excellent management and organizational skills.
- Solid technical knowledge in automotive mechanics and maintenance.
- Mastery of regulations related to transport and road safety.
- Ability to analyze data and implement performance indicators.
- Team management and negotiation skills.
- Rigor, autonomy, and a sense of responsibility.
- Good understanding of budget management.
