Job description:
The Academic Director at the Center for Doctoral Studies is responsible for supervising and coordinating all pedagogical activities related to doctoral programs. He ensures the quality of the training provided, compliance with academic standards, and the continual progression of the doctoral programs. The main aspects of his responsibilities are:
- Pedagogical Coordination:
- Develop and implement the pedagogical strategy for doctoral programs.
- Ensure coordination between different departments, faculty members, and the CEDoc
- Oversee the continuous updating of educational content in line with scientific and technological advancements.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and additional training for the development of doctoral students' skills.
- Evaluation and Quality Assurance :
- Implement evaluation tools to measure the quality of training and the monitoring of doctoral students.
- Ensure that programs comply with academic requirements and international quality standards.
- Academic Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain partnerships with other academic institutions, both nationally and internationally.
- Participate in promoting the doctoral programs of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.
- Administrative Management:
- Oversee administrative aspects related to the trainings of doctoral students.
- Participate in the development of the pedagogical budget and ensure its follow-up.
Requirements:
PhD Degree
Minimum of 8 years of experience in higher education or research, with significant experience in pedagogical or administrative management.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with various academic stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Arabic, French and English.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Profil recherché :
