We're looking for consultants to join our highly driven and ambitious teams in performing energy modeling and analysis to support the energy efficiency study of commercial buildings. The consultants will work with building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that their projects meet the necessary energy efficiency requirements to claim a tax deduction for installing qualifying energy-efficient buildings. As the industry continues to evolve, building energy modelers must stay informed of the latest codes, standards, and technologies

Some key tasks are the following:

Conduct energy modeling using softwares such as eQuest to simulate the energy performance of buildings;
Analyze energy savings for various energy efficiency measures, such as lighting upgrades, HVAC system improvements, and build envelope enhancements;
Review the project documentation to ensure that it meets the necessary standards and requirements for certification;
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in building energy modeling and energy efficiency standards and codes.

Your team:

• You will report directly to the Business Unit's Consulting Manager;
• You will be part of a team of engineers (mechanical - civil - electrical - chemical engineering) who enjoy learning, expanding their comfort zone, and staying updated on the latest codes, standards, and technologies used in energy efficient buildings.

Profil recherché :

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering is required, with a preference for Mechanical engineering. Degrees in Civil, Chemical, or Electrical engineering are also accepted;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD would be a plus, although not required;
• Perfect Proficiency in English: both written and spoken;
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and a personable attitude;
• Curiosity, awareness and an interest in sustainable buildings and energy-efficient designs;
• Polyvalence and high proactivity, with a strong desire to learn.
