Poste :
1. Mastering principles, policies, procedures, guidelines, regulations, and practices related to the health and safety of UM6P research laboratories.
2. Developing procedures, guidelines, and best practices of health and safety at the university research laboratories.
3. Ensuring the implementation of all the measures and facilities related to proper implementation of health and safety.
4. Monitoring the daily practices and needs and ensuring the implementation of health and safety in the UM6P research labs.
5. Inspecting annually or periodically the laboratories and university units and reporting and informing about the shortcomings
6. Ensuring corrective actions for the shortcomings
7. Developing and preparing training materials for the faculty, students, and staff on health and safety.
8. Providing periodically and as per the needs training in health and safety.
9. Organizing workshops to publicize and promote health and safety.
10. Assessing the experimental procedures and work plan for safe operation and providing suggestions and approval.
11. Ensuring adequate availability of personnel protection equipment.
12. Implementing the chemicals, biological agents, and hazardous materials tracking
13. Ensuring safe receiving and registering of chemicals and biological agents.
14. Handing the safe disposal and procedure implementation of disposing of chemicals, biological agents, and hazardous materials.
15. Handling and reporting safety-related accidents and injuries.
16. Developing, analyzing, implementing, and supervising emergency plans.
17. Developing and analyzing risks and risks mitigations plans.
18. Coordinating health and safety among university units.
