Job description:
The college of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is seeking a Research Assistant candidate to conduct evaluation experiments in agriculture.
Experiments will be performed at the greenhouse and field level. Overall, above- and below-ground parameters should be assessed to make decisions on an enlarged experiment at the farmer’s scale.
Main responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Plan and carry out trials at the laboratory, the greenhouse and at the field
- Manage the in situ and ex situ conservation plots
- Record, analyze and interpret data
- Write reports
Employment terms:
This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for one year with an attractive remuneration package. Successful candidate will first be employed for one year, renewable once.

Profil recherché :
Education, qualifications and experience
Candidates should have a master’s degree in plant sciences or equivalent.
- Research experience in plant diversity, and agronomy is desired.
- Ability to work in the laboratory and conduct field studies.
- Working with R for statistical analysis and data illustration
- Superb problem-solving skills and able to work well in a team
- Positive attitude in changing fast-paced environments
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation.
- English communication skills.
