About HTMR:

HTMR, the unique high throughput multidisciplinary research laboratory in Morocco that aims to promote utilization of automated and parallelization approaches for applying high-throughput and combinatorial experimental methodologies to accelerate the development of new materials and processes.

The HTMR laboratory allows scientists to consolidate their research and proof-of-concept based on fully automated tools allowing the synthesis and screening of large numbers of compounds through workflows design, as well as the optimization of reaction/process conditions much more rapidly than the conventional approaches.

HTMR is a capability that supports the UM6P ecosystem and Moroccan industry to accelerate the research and development reducing the time and cost involved in the materials/process development for various industrial applications.

About the opportunity:

We are looking to recruit two chemistry lab technicians in R&D (research and development) to work within a team of researchers and engineers, with the aim of developing new products and improving existing ones. The person will be responsible for conducting laboratory, pilot, and industrial tests, collecting, and analysing data, preparing, and characterizing products, as well as conducting literature reviews and writing technical reports. 

Profil recherché :

Profile and Skills required:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Materials, Chemistry, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have a good level of French and English to conduct literature reviews in scientific journals and write technical and scientific progress reports.
• Master the methodology of experimental research.
• Be proficient in common computer tools.
• Demonstrate good laboratory practices.
• Exhibit organization, rigor, and autonomy.
• Know and apply hygiene and safety rules.
• Possess interpersonal skills and a team spirit.
• Technical skills required: material synthesis and characterizations mainly XRD, HPLC, TOC, UV-vis.

Work Location:

The work is primarily conducted in the laboratory at the premises of HTMR Lab.
