Job/Project description:
We are seeking applications for a full-time Technician in the field experiment implementation and plant phenotyping. The position is part of the Agrobiosciences program (AgBS). The successful candidate is expected to participate in an interdisciplinary team and contribute in setting up field and greenhouse trials. Candidates should hold a technician diploma or Licence degree in the field of agronomy and horticulture or other related disciplines. Priority will be given to the candidates having research experience.

The successful candidate will be employed on a competitive salary by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) based in Benguerir, Morocco.
Main responsibilities:
The technician will be expected to:
- Contribute to designing, planning, and implementing research experiments, data collection and management.
- Conduct research experiments under open field and controlled conditions.
- Produce technical reports.
- Supervise daily labors and assist interns in the implementation of field and pot experiments.
Profil recherché :
Education, qualifications, and experience
- Technician and/or Licence degree in agriculture, plant biology, or related fields.
- Experienced in conducting field trials and controlled conditions.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the field with significant contribution in conducting research experiments and trials, managing germplasm collections, collecting data.
- Good technical knowledge and use of computer software/programs commonly used in data collection.
- Aptitude for teamwork, problem solving and collaborative work.
- Organizational dexterity and ability to prioritize and manage multiple goals.
- Positive attitude in changing fast-paced environments
