Poste :

Engineer in Enzyme Production

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineer in Enzyme Production to join our dynamic team specializing in fermentation processes and enzyme technologies. This position focuses on the production of enzymatic cocktails rich in phosphohydrolytic and lignocellulolytic enzymes and will be based at the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, AgroBioSciences Program, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Benguerir, Morocco.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate the fermentation and enzymatic production platform, including enzyme production, purification, characterization, and immobilization.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of fermentation and enzyme processing equipment.
• Develop and implement operational protocols for enzyme production and optimization.
• Supervise laboratory and pilot-scale experiments, ensuring quality control and reproducibility.
• Contribute to innovative research on enzyme production and their applications in various industrial and environmental sectors.
• Collaborate with research teams and industry partners to enhance enzyme-based solutions.

Profil recherché :

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Engineer, Doctorate or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Process Engineering.
• Experience in fermentation and enzyme technology (production, purification, and characterization).
• Hands-on experience with bioreactors, chromatographic purification, and enzymatic assays.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research environment.
