Job description:
The UM6P African Center on Air Quality and Climate Change uses environmental observations for a better prediction of the impacts on the local environment. The climate change is impacting mainly the agriculture sector causing water scarcity issues. The position is for young research passionate to work within a research project on different tasks from Energy efficiency, energy modeling & data analysis, APV system design, environmental analysis and AWH implementation. The candidate must show interest to other topics such as climate change, as well as support the development of innovative solutions towards sustainable resources and green economy transition. This includes experimental and modelling activities on PVs and key climate drivers such as energy efficiency innovations and climate change policies also help increase the pace of PV adaptation and implementation.
Key duties:
- Highlight and conduct findings from research and experimental activities,
- Communicate to the research project team the development, progress and results of research activities ensuring that relevant information and issues in the implementation of projects/experiments are captured in as comprehensive and timely manner as possible,
- Develop collaborative links with the scientific team in related program areas to gain exposure to build knowledge on experimental/research activities and approaches,
- Design and organize data along experimental research and design representative presentations that support overall research management,
Profil recherché :
Candidate profile:
The position is open to individuals who hold an Engineering or Master degree in the subject discipline from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with research experience. Good communication skills, both verbal and writing are important. Fluency in French and English are essentials.
