Job Responsibilities

Planning and Executing Audits

Develop detailed audit plans and schedules.
Conduct audits in accordance with the audit plan and internal audit standards.
Evaluating Internal Controls

Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
Identify weaknesses in internal controls and recommend improvements.
Risk Assessment

Identify and evaluate risks across the organization.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend actions to management.
Reporting

Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations.
Present audit findings to management and discuss corrective actions.
Follow-Up

Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions have been implemented effectively.
Stakeholder Communication

Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including management, employees, and external auditors.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organization.
Continuous Improvement

Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the audit function.
Recommend changes to audit processes, tools, and techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Data Analytics and Technology Use

Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to enhance audit processes.
Stay abreast of technological advancements and integrate them into the audit function.
Special Projects

Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Provide audit expertise in various organizational projects and strategic initiatives.
