Job Description:
Department of Chemical & Biochemical Sciences (CBS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is currently recruiting a full-time technician specializing in microbiology, and biochemistry. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a solid foundation in Chemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology, complemented by expertise in microbiology and chemical analysis. Successful candidates should hold a Bac+ 2 or Bac+ 3 degree in biochemistry, applied microbiology, or a related field. Proficiency in both English and French is essential. The technician will closely collaborate with our team of researchers, doctoral and master's students, as well as research assistant.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Perform a variety of laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols. Prepare and set up equipment, instruments and materials required for experiments. Follow precise procedures to ensure accurate and reproducible results.
2. Prepare chemical reagents, handle and process biological and chemical samples for analysis, following strict safety and contamination control protocols.
3. Monitor and apply laboratory standards and safety regulations.
4. Collect, record and organize data from experiments and observations. Collaborate with researchers to interpret results.
5. Manages the inventory of consumables, chemicals and equipment required for research activities.

Profil recherché :
Candidate criteria
1. Bac+ 2 or Bac+ 3 degree in chemistry or microbiology or closely related field.
2. Demonstrated practical experience working with a variety of laboratory equipment and techniques. Mastery of laboratory procedures and instrumentation is crucial to conducting effective experiments and research.
3. Strong teamwork and collaborative problem-solving skills.
4. Demonstrate strong written and oral skills in English and French.
