Job Description:
Department of Chemical & Biochemical Sciences (CBS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is currently recruiting a full-time research assistant specializing in microbiology, Biochemistry, and Bioprocess. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a solid foundation in Chemistry and Biotechnology, complemented by expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, and chemical analysis. Successful candidates should hold a Master's or engineering degree in biochemistry, applied microbiology, or a related field. Proficiency in both English and French is essential. The research assistant will closely collaborate with our team of researchers, doctoral and master's students, as well as technicians.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Perform a variety of laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols. Prepare and set up equipment, instruments and materials required for experiments. Follow precise procedures to ensure accurate and reproducible results.
2. Prepare chemical reagents, handle and process biological and chemical samples for analysis, following strict safety and contamination control protocols.
3. Monitor and apply laboratory standards and safety regulations.
4. Collect, record and organize data from experiments and observations. Collaborate with researchers to interpret results.
5. Manages the inventory of consumables, chemicals and equipment required for research activities.
6. Compile and document experimental and research results in technical reports.

Profil recherché :
Candidate criteria
1. Master's degree or engineering degree in biochemistry, applied microbiology or closely related field.
2. Demonstrated practical experience working with a variety of laboratory equipment and techniques. Mastery of laboratory procedures and instrumentation is crucial to conducting effective experiments and research.
3. Strong teamwork and collaborative problem-solving skills.
4. Demonstrate strong written and oral skills in English and French.
