The UM6P Health Center:
The candidate will be engage in the UM6P Health Center.
Position: Laboratory technician in Molecular Biology experienced in sample collection
The candidate will be involved in research laboratory from sample collection to the results analysis including nucleic acid extraction, RT and PCR amplification and data analysis. The candidate will also participate in themes that are developed within the university and especially in biological and medical sciences.
The candidate has to be able to receipt and manage the sample storage, manage the orders, instruments and run the basis molecular biology technics. Samples collection, results management, respect of the rules of hygiene and safety are requested in addition to work in a team. Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry or chemistry is a minimum requested.

Profil recherché :
Criteria of the candidate :
- Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry or chemistry.
- Strong experience in Paramedical sample collection (blood, swab, etc.) in a hospital or in a laboratory of medical analysis.
- Strong experience in RT-PCR, Q-PCR
- Cloning and Western Blotting experiences will be an advantage.
- Strong English and French communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Interest and ability to contribute to interdisciplinary research collaborations in one or more areas central to the UM6P research center is expected.
- Ability to engage professionally (Ability to work in group) with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students across the university and externally is required.
