The British Chamber of Commerce for Morocco is recruiting a Senior Project Manager
Position Title: Senior Project Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Reporting to this position: PR & Communication Manager, Business Manager
Main Duties:
• Leading a team
• Identify opportunities for British SMEs to expand business in Morocco and devise strategies to ensure they are effectively taken advantage of
• Organizing road shows in the UK
• Undertake research on behalf of British companies
• Generate and deliver chargeable enquiries
• Manage client relationships including building and maintaining a network of contacts in Morocco and the UK (i.e. Regional Chambers)
• Identify potential contacts within the Moroccan business community and advise companies to call on these
• Develop and manage events including seminars, webinars, company launch events and networking events
• Monitor and maintain databases and Client Relationship Management tools
• Provide assistance to companies exhibiting at trade fairs, participating in missions or visiting Morocco
• Provide advice to enquiries related to doing business in Morocco
• Manage published information on the business opportunities in Morocco
Requirements:
• A degree in Business Administration or relevant field , with more than 3 years of senior management experience in the private sector or international trade
• A proven track record of successful relationship management
• management skills definitely an advantage
• Experience in business planning, reporting and budgeting is preferred
• Market research experience is a must
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a small team
• Good collaborator
• Excellent English, both written and spoken
• The job holder must be prepared to travel to the UK and within the region
• Some evening and weekend work will be required
Benefit package includes:
• Key Working hours: 08.30 – 16.30, Monday to Friday
• Salary + CPF, payable 13 times a year
• 17 days paid annual leave
