Job :
The Indirect Buyer is responsible for managing non-production purchases (services, IT, maintenance, equipment, logistics, general services, etc.). They lead the entire purchasing process, from defining needs to monitoring supplier performance, while ensuring cost optimization, quality of services, and compliance with budget objectives.
Main responsibilities
Sourcing & Consultation
- Gather and analyze the needs of internal clients.
- Identify, select, and qualify potential suppliers.
- Launch calls for tender and supplier consultations.
- Analyze and compare technical and commercial offers.
- Participate in supplier selection in line with quality, cost, and deadline requirements.
Negotiation & Contracting
- Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and service levels.
- Negotiate and implement framework agreements.
- Secure supply conditions and supplier commitments.
- Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to purchasing procedures.
Performance Management
- Ensure the achievement of savings objectives.
- Monitor budgets and contribute to their optimization.
- Implement supplier performance indicators.
- Conduct spending analyses and identify improvement opportunities.
Supplier Management
- Ensure monitoring of service quality and on-time delivery.
- Manage disputes and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with requirements and internal standards.
- Develop long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
Required profile :
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Experience in an automotive or industrial environment is highly appreciated.
Technical Skills
- Experience in indirect purchasing, service purchasing, or procurement.
- Proficiency in sourcing and negotiation techniques.
- Knowledge of purchasing and supplier management processes.
- Skills in cost analysis and budget monitoring.
- Good command of office tools, especially Excel.
Soft Skills
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset and results-oriented.
- Autonomy and rigor.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Synthesis skills and ability to propose solutions.
