Job :

Reporting to the SCRAP PREPARATION & TRANSFER MANAGER, control the raw material (scrap) during preparation.

As such, your missions will be:

• Control the raw material (scrap) during preparation, while respecting performance objectives and quality, H & S, environmental, and energy requirements, as well as all regulatory and standard requirements associated with the products.

• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Energy (QHSEE) rules;
• Ensure the availability and conformity of all safety equipment for the individual and collective protection of employees;
• Control the quality of scrap during preparation;
• Estimate the quality percentage of scrap;
• Identify oversized scrap;
• Control the dimension of oxy-cut parts;
• Declare and separate suspicious material;
• Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, hearing protection, helmets, safety shoes, etc.)
• Ensure the good condition of the PPE provided and use them correctly;
• Comply with procedures, instructions, and guidelines regarding H&S and the environment;
• Contribute to the improvement of H&S and environmental performance;
• Contribute to environmental protection by respecting waste management and sorting procedures generated at your workstation;
• Report any environmental incident observed in your work area or other site areas to your supervisor
 

Required profile :

Technical diploma (Bac+2 level equivalent).

• Knowledge of different types of scrap and their specificities.
• Mastery of quality control methods and current standards.
• Mastery of scrap qualities;• Mastery of scrap quality acceptance criteria;• Knowledge of different types of scrap and their specificities.

• Knowledge of integrated management systems (ISO 9001/45001/14001) and 50001.
