ORH Assessment is recruiting for its client, the Regional Multiservices Company Casablanca-Settat (SRM-CS), a Head of Electricity MME Laboratory.

Main tasks

Reporting to the technical department, you will ensure the metrological reliability of SRM-CS's electricity metering equipment. As such, you will:
• Assist SRM-CS entities with metering and other Electricity MME, while strictly respecting impartiality rules.
• Manage the metrological management of electricity meters: park control, expert assessments, data updates, connection monitoring, and compliance analysis.
• Organize and supervise the laboratory's operations: equipment calibration, facility maintenance, control of environmental conditions, development of methods, and production of technical reports.
• Manage the laboratory team and equipment to ensure a safe, high-performance environment that complies with regulatory and standard requirements.

Main activities

Calibration and meter expertise
• Schedule calibration operations for electricity meters (new meters, park control, customer meters): validate delivery slips, track returns.
• Conduct expert assessments on electricity meters.
• Keep the meter database up to date.

Metrology and quality assurance
• Calibrate MME internally (meters, PAM, MUT, AR, etc.).
• Calculate and establish measurement uncertainty balances.
• Verify and interpret external calibration results.
• Develop, verify, modify, and validate methods.
• Analyze calibration results, including conformity declarations, and determine the conformity of MME.
• Prepare calibration reports (certificates, CR, FD) with review and approval of results, and sign them with authorized personnel.
• Comply with the equipment connection schedule and monitor the connection of standards.
• Identify metrology needs (standards, MME).

Laboratory Management
• Establish and monitor the annual maintenance schedule for facilities and equipment.
• Ensure the maintenance of the electricity meter test bench.
• Create and update equipment life records.
• Monitor laboratory environmental conditions daily.
• Define, control, and enforce preventive and safety measures.
• Prepare reports and summaries of activities under your responsibility.

Required profile :

Profile sought

Education: State engineering degree (or equivalent recognized degree) in electrical engineering, metrology, instrumentation, electrotechnics, electromechanics, or equivalent.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience desired in an accredited laboratory or an MME technical service.
Skills:
• Mastery of calibration principles, metrological traceability, and measurement uncertainty.
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025 standard appreciated).
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Rigor, sense of impartiality, and concern for compliance.
• Ability to lead a technical team and organize activities.
