Poste :

• We are currently seeking a Wiring Harness Design Engineer to work with EDS Engineering Team on Stellantis projects.
• You will mainly use electrical schematics, formboards, 3Ds, ECRs and other entry data to create and maintain 2D Drawings.
• Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination.
• Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their missions, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a “fast-paced” environment.

Position Tasks:

Responsible of customer input data:

• Interface customer responsible of 3D/2D
• Analyze all input data from customer design team: Schematics, 3D or formboards...
• Check input data from customer regarding complexity and manage deliverable PTA file

Follow Engineering Change requests:

• Check engineering changes in regards of specifications and manage related Design tasks
• Lead customer drawings update based on drawings/design review and agreed/released list of changes, as well as drawings checklist and follow related actions plan

Support Yazaki plants, VAVE and manufacturing drawings:

• Interface Yazaki plant to clarify any design issue/Question or analyze optimizations requests
• Support VAVE target & MIT activities
• Support Manufacturing drawings process

Organize and lead customer Design review & DFM (Design for Manufacturing):

• Ensure Design review with customer
• Prepare and achieve DFM in plant & Follow the DFM action plan
   

Profil recherché :

Education and skills:

• University degree (Bac+5) in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, without or with experience
• Proficient with Microsoft office Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills (French and English)
• Flexibility
• Strong analytical skills
• High attention to details
• Self-motivation and prioritization
• Ability to work in a team as well as alone

Additional preferred qualifications (that would be a plus)

• Previous design experience from an automotive (Stellantis or other OEM) or Harness Manufacturing background
• Previous experience with designing/draughting all types of Harnesses and Components (Connectors, Cable Channels, brackets and fixing parts)
• Experience using Catia V5 or CapM or HXC
• Vehicle assembly process, especially EDS related aspects.
• Experience of working with, or design of, vehicle electrical systems
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical/electronic system function and diagnostics
• Understanding of EDS design, harness guidelines and development process
• Harness manufacturing experience
