About UM6P Career Center:
Established in September 2021, UM6P Career Center aims to support students in their job search. As part of the Academic Services Division, our work is centred around three major components:
- Help the students develop their employability skills. We offer an extensive program in self-development, job search training, and individual career coaching on campus and on line. A volunteering program complements these training services – The Social Experience Program - aiming to give the students the opportunity to hone their skills and apply their learnings on the field by helping the local community.
- Develop our network of business partners and recruiters. This is done through a series of engagement events on campus and a structured process of following up on all type of placement opportunities. All the initiatives in this field are designed to promote the UM6P brand as a talent pool provider and increase the engagement and retention rate of partners.
- Monitor the placement of our students and graduates and support the schools in engaging industry operators in their academic programs
Job description:
As the Academic Partnerships Manager, you will help advance the Career Center's 2030 Vision by providing transformative global experiences. Reporting to the Head of the Career Center and coaching the Student Mobility team, your role will enhance our students' international exposure, fostering global citizens who can contribute to the African continent's future. You will be responsible for developing international mobility programs, facilitating educational experiences abroad, and forging strategic alliances.
Missions or tasks:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and launch an action plan outlining strategies and tactics to increase study abroad considerably and international exchange opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain partnerships with international educational institutions and organizations to create new study-abroad opportunities.
- Grant Applications: Ensure that UM6P regularly applies to relevant grants and scholarships offered for study abroad programs ( Erasmus+, Fullbright, DAAD, etc.)
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement strategies to promote study abroad programs to students, faculty, and staff.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with institutional policies and international regulations and prepare reports on program outcomes and student experiences.
Profil recherché :
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in International Education, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in managing study abroad or international exchange programs.
- Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in a second language, and cultural sensitivity.
- Language: French and English ( Proficiency level B2)
