About UM6P Career Center:
Established in September 2021, UM6P Career Center aims to support students in their job search. As part of the Academic Services Division, our work is centred around three major components:
- Develop employability skills: We offer an extensive program in self-development, job search training, and individual career coaching on campus and online. A volunteering program complements these training services The Social Experience Program giving students the opportunity to hone their skills and apply their learnings by helping the local community.
- Foster employer and industry engagement: Through structured events and strategic partnerships, we grow our network of business partners and recruiters. These initiatives enhance the UM6P brand as a provider of high-quality talent and strengthen placement opportunities for students and graduates.
- Support placement and academic integration: We monitor the placement of our students and graduates while working with schools to ensure industry alignment in academic programs.
Job Description:
As the Alumni Engagement Manager, you will contribute to the Career Centers 2030 Vision by building and managing a vibrant alumni network that empowers graduates to stay connected, grow professionally, and give back to their community. Reporting to the Head of the Career Center, you will design and implement strategies to strengthen alumni engagement, foster lifelong connections, and turn alumni into ambassadors, mentors, and partners for UM6P.
Missions or Tasks:
- Strategy & Program Development: Design and execute a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy aligned with UM6Ps employability and innovation goals.
- Community Building: Establish regional and global alumni chapters to foster meaningful interactions among graduates.
- Alumni Services & Career Support: Develop programs that provide alumni with ongoing career development support and opportunities for upskilling and networking.
- Events & Communication: Organize annual reunions, networking events, and career panels, while maintaining strong and consistent communication across platforms.
- Data Management & Reporting: Oversee the alumni database, track engagement metrics, and prepare periodic reports on alumni impact and participation.
- Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with academic programs, employer engagement teams, and student development units to integrate alumni into mentoring, recruitment, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Profil recherché :
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Communications, Higher Education Management, Community Engagement, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or stakeholder management within academic institutions or large organizations.
- Skills: Excellent relationship-building skills, project management capabilities, and proficiency in digital communication and CRM tools.
- Language: French and English (Proficiency level B2)
